Stancombe Manor
Stancombe Manor is situated in the heart of the South Hams region of Devon, between Dartmouth and Salcombe.
The properties are situated in 21 acres of glorious Devon countryside including our own Cyder Orchards and woodland. We are close to many beautiful beaches, coastal walks and other interesting attractions. All of the original buildings in the hamlet of Stancombe now comprise high quality self-catering accommodation.
The Manor House, built around the 18th century, is set in its own large private garden and sleeps eight. The beautifully converted Tythe Barn includes eight fully modernised stone-built cottages. All vary in size and character and sleep between four and six.
A further four cottages complete the hamlet and all the properties have the advantage of open grounds where it is possible to enjoy a barbeque or simply relax on a summer's evening.
Stancombe Cottage sleeping six, has its own private garden, and is set a little further down the valley commanding a glorious view down to the village.
The abundance of activities available, only serve to enhance the rustic and rural character of this medieval farmstead. All ages have the choice of total relaxation, or the ability to indulge in the many facilities available on site.
Facilities:
- indoor heated swimming pool measuring 6 metres wide by 13 metres long, newly refurbished to include a sauna and new changing rooms
- tennis court
- snooker room with a full sized snooker table
